Montanna is an upstanding pony of great character, with a huge front and plenty of bone. There is no question that he would make a brilliant ridden pony; we hope that he is able to pass on this quality to his offspring.

In addition to his make, shape and movement, we were also attracted to his breeding which brings together some of the best bloodlines in the country. His sire, Synod John-Peel has been a good show winner for his breeders including mountain pony championships at Stafford and Cheshire County shows in 2006.  Meanwhile his dam comes from the prolific “M” line at Synod based on Twyford Mallard.
