Waxwing Painter - right

 

4 year old by W.Hurricane and full brother to W. Paintbox. At his very first show he was lead rein winner and mini champion of the BSPS Scottish Winter Championships held in March.

A month later he returned to the same venue of the Scottish Equestrian Centre for the NPS Scotland Spring Show to take the novice Mountain & Moorland ridden champion before taking the Supreme Ridden Championship of the show.

Previously unshown, Painter is owned and produced by Evelyn Aitken and Gillian Beattie from Ayrshire and ridden by Emma Byrne.

 

Waxwing Rigmarole - left

The NPS Scotland Spring Show provided Phillipa Aitken with a win in the novice Mountain & Moorland ridden section with Rigmarole on her showring debut under saddle.

Shown only three times in hand she was previously Supreme at the Scottish Welsh Association Spring Show and twice reserve champion at the Royal Highland.

Produced by Phillipa's mother and sister, Evelyn Aitken and Gillian Beatiie, Rigmarole takes over from Phillipa's former big winner, Waxwing Rhys.
