Foals for sale

Each year we like to offer buyers a selection of foals bred at the stud so would invite you to look at our foal page and get back to us about any that may interest you. Most of them will be for sale and past purchases have included many ponies that have won in the show ring with a good number qualifying for HOYS. They come from the best of bloodlines and are excellent prospects for the show ring for both in hand and through time ridden classes. Currently our stallions do not stand at public stud so their foal progeny can only be purchased from us.

Waxwing Dan Dare

3 year old Welsh Sec A gelding out of Waxwing Penny Dainty by Waxwing Hurricane

Potential top class mountain and moorland ridden pony with definite HOYS potential. Danny is up-to-height with a huge front matched by a great back-end. He is a good free mover which would suit both the First Ridden and Open Ridden classes and hopefully, through time, the Working Hunter Pony classes. He has a brilliant temperament and is a lovely pony in every way; he will make a great child’s pony as well as showman. He comes from a family of performers and is sure to follow them to the top.

Mynach Sun Shade

3 year old Welsh Sec B filly by Eyarth Beau Geste out of Mynach Aurora by Moelview Mohawk

Sun Shade has been very lightly but successfully shown in hand and is entered for this year’s shows. As a yearling she won at the Royal Highland and the NPS Scottish Championships and was third at the Royal Welsh; last year she was judged Champion Sec B at the Royal Highland. She has excellent conformation and is a beautiful mover and has the most wonderful temperament; coming from a brilliant family she is certain to make a great saddle pony and another serious HOYS contender.
